Did Karan Johar play cupid for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani?

Bollywood director Karan Johar is a man, who is known to make things happen. The ‘My Name is Khan’ director has played a father figure role to many up and coming stars. Karan’s ‘Student of the Year’ star Sidharth Malhotra, who was allegedly in a relationship with Alia Bhatt and later on the pair called it quits.

Now, if reports are to believed, KJo played a cupid for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. Though, on record, both Sidharth and Kiara have denied that they are dating each other. As per a report in PinkVilla,  Sidharth and Kiara are often spotted at the filmmaker, Karan Johar’s get together and in fact, the spark of Sid dating Kiara started from one of those intimate dinner parties.

The report further states that Kiara and Sidharth met each other at Karan Johar’s pad and it was Karan himself who played the cupid and brought them together. Alia Bhatt recently on ‘Koffee with Karan 6’ said that Sid should date Kiara Advani.

On the work front, Kiara Advani will be next seen in ‘Kabir Singh’ alongside Shahid Kapoor and also Karan Johar’s film ‘Kalank’. The alleged relationship between Sidharth and Kiara has generated quite a buzz and if it works out then they will have to thank Karan Johar.
