Fire breaks out at Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions’ godown in Goregaon

In an unfortunate incident, a fire broke out at Cama Industrial Estate in Goregaon on April 30 at 2.30 am. It was reportedly in Dharma Productions’ godown in Cama Industrial Estate where many props including books have been damaged.

To control the damage caused by fire, 12 fire tenders were attempted to douse the flame. The fire mishap broke out at around 2:30 am. The fire was of Level 3, officials said.

According to the local police, there is a godown of Dharma productions in this industrial estate. The fire broke out on the first floor and, eventually, took all the three floors of the building. This place due to being chemical godown, the fire spread rapidly.

The head honcho of Dharma Productions i.e. Karan Johar has not issued any statement over this issue.

As of now, no report of any loss of lives has been reported. But, a fire brigade official sustained injuries while dousing the fire. He is undergoing treatment in a nearby hospital.
