Karan Johar fails to remember that Amitabh Bachchan is a half Sikh, apologises later

At a recent talk show, Karan Johar poured his heart out. In a snippet video, we saw him talking about how he used to think that everybody in the industry is a Punjabi. He narrates that his father used to speak to everyone in Punjabi and hence, the misconception. He also mentions that he has heard Amitabh Bachchan speaking in Punjabi despite not being one.That’s when he went wrong.

Check out the video, Big B soon replied to KJo and revealed to him that he is a half Sikh. Amitabh Bachchan’s mother was a Sikh and that’s how he has Punjabi roots.

No Karan .. I speak Punjabi because my Mother was as Sikh ; that makes me a half Sikh and so I speak Punjabi .. !!!!
