Karan Johar gives a humble response as a user asks him about his daughter Roohi’s mother

Filmmaker Karan Johar welcomed his twins – daughter Roohi and son Yash via surrogacy in February 2017. He is often seen sharing anecdotes about his parenting life. Right from giving them education to sharing how his kids roast him, small details about his life is always put on display on Instagram. Speaking of which, Karan Johar recently shared a cute video of his daughter

Roohi can be heard saying, “Siri Siri, I don’t like it, you sing a proper song in a rhythm. Be a professional, come onnn”. The director captioned the post, “Roohi Vs Siri…”. Soon, a user asked him about the her mother as they commented, “Who is the mother of Roohi? Can anybody please tell me? I am confused.” To this, Karan chose to share a humble reply by saying, “@fardinatasha I AM!!! Am so worried about your confused state so I had to answer your pertinent and relevant query.”

In a recent interview, Karan Johar shared that his children have begun asking questions about their birth. During a conversation with Faye D’Souza on her YouTube channel, The director said, “It is a modern family. It is an unusual circumstance, so now I am also dealing with the questions about ‘whose stomach was I born in? But mumma is not mumma really, she is my grandmother’. I am going to school, to the counsellor, to ask how do we navigate the situation? And it is not easy, being a parent is never easy.”
