Lakshya starrer KILL is not for the faint-hearted as Karan Johar and Guneet Monga bring an ‘A’ rated film

Karan Johar has made a name for himself as a master of the box office, who knows what films will work commercially. On the other hand, Guneet Monga is known to back movies that push the envelope further with each step. Thus, the two of them coming together had to bring out something daring. And that is what is happening with their collaboration, Kill starring Lakshya Lalwani.

As Apoorva Mehta and Karan’s Dharma Productions and Guneet’s Sikhya Entertainment join hands, they are bringing a daring film to the forefront with Kill. It promises to be a very violent film that is surely not for the faint hearted. The makers are targeting the younger audience and boost this genre amongst them in a new way. The film has been given an ‘A’ certificate and boasts to be a non-stop, high-octane actioner. It is sure to create some big ripples in the industry.

Karan is known to launch actors who became big stars as they proceed in their career. Next up in that list is Lakshya. The filmmaker is introducing him as a new age action hero. If the first look poster is anything to go by, the audience is in for a treat. Lakshya has proven his potential as an actor on the small screen, showing that he is big screen material. With Kill, Karan is giving that platform to him.

Kill to premiere at TIFF

It is a very different debut for Lakshya as Karan is launching him on a global platform with Kill. The film makes its premiere at Toronto International Film Festival, marking a very big achievement for a debutante like Lakshya. And even before the film releases, the actor has already bagged another Dharma film. The actor will play the antagonist in another big film backed by Karan.
