Karan Johar, Guneet Monga and Lakshya set to embark on the global journey of KILL with its premiere at Toronto International Film Festival

A month ago, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Guneet Monga announced one of their collaborations, an action-packed thriller Kill. The film stars Lakshya Lalwani in his debut film role. Starting with its announcement, the film boasted its quality. Kill will have its premiere at Toronto International Film Festival and seems like the team, including Lakshya, are all set to embark on that journey.

Kill is filled with never seen before action. It promises to present a new kind of film to Indian cinema in that genre. The film was announced to have its global premiere at TIFF and now the team is set to jet off to Canada for the same. Karan, Guneet, Apoorva and Lakshya will soon head out to the festival and take centre stage with their non-stop actioner directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Kill will premiere in the Midnight Madness segment and for Lakshya, it’s a huge achievement to get there with his debut film.

The first look of the film was unveiled last month. It had Lakshya in an intense gaze looking through the camera. He has a wound on his face and a knife to his throat. The makers introduced Lakshya as ‘the next action hero to look out for’.

Karan and Guneet collaboration

Both Karan and Guneet are masters of their crafts. They are known to create and back projects that not only work commercially but also give thought provoking content. While Karan is known for ruling the box office with his films, Guneet brought home an Oscar this year with her film.

The team up of these two mavericks is nothing short of legendary. Thus, the excitement for Kill is quite high and surely, the film will live up to it. The official poster and teaser of the film will release soon. However, the first look has surely created quite an intrigue. And not just that, with Karan and Guneet’s team up, there are expectations of some high quality content coming in near future.
