And without revealing the real names, asked the audience to guess the cast. The netizens were quick to put in their guesses. And the unanimous call is that the film Karan Johar is talking about, is actually the Bollywood debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan.

The filmmaker shared picture that started with the headline, “This is not a film announcement!”. It further read, “We have been shooting this intriguing film for the past year, kept it under wraps because not revealing key aspects of the film even to the crew was a decision the debut director took”. The debut director here reportedly is Kayoze Irani.

Karan then went on to give hints about the 3 leading cast members. The first one went like, “A superstar from the south who has just delivered a pan India juggernaut”. Netizens were quick to guess the name of Prithviraj Sukumaran who recently gave Salaar with Prabhas. The next actor’s hint was, “A massively loved actress who continues to awe us with her emotional energy on celluloid”. One actress who has this emotional power on the audience is Kajol and the fans also pointed that out.

Karan revealed that the film is ready and will be releasing soon, with the cast’s names and film’s title to be unveiled as well. As per the guesses, the film is titled Sarzameen. For now, here’s waiting for an official announcement by the team soon.
