Karan Johar says not being invited to Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif’s wedding was ‘embarrassing’

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got married in an intimate ceremony in December last year. The couple’s wedding took place in Rajasthan in the presence of close friends and family members. Bollywood celebrities including Angad Bedi, Neha Dhupia and Sharvari Wagh had attended Vickat’s wedding. There were many celebs who were not invited to Vicky-Katrina’s wedding and Karan Johar was one of them. In the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan season 7, he will talk about how not being invited to the couple’s wedding was embarrassing for him.

As quoted by Hindustan Times, Karan Johar said on the show, “When Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it became very embarrassing for me. It got to a point where people were like you did not tell us about them, you are at the wedding and still not telling us etc! It got very embarrassing to admit that I had not been invited. Then after the wedding came the sympathies and doubts. People were like why weren’t you invited? Is everything ok between you guys?”

Karan added, “When I got to know that Anurag Kashyap had also not been invited to Vicky-Kat’s wedding, I did find a little peace.”

In the finale episode of the chat show, social media influencers Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, Tanmay Bhat and Niharika NM will make an appearance on the show.
