Karan Johar on people’s criticism over revealing Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan relationship: What is true is true

Ahead of the premiere of Koffee with Karan 7, filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed that actors Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan ‘started dating’ after she mentioned him on the Koffee couch. In the previous season, Sara had revealed that she has a crush on Kartik and would like to date him. However, soon the chatter about the two started making headlines. In fact, Sara and Kartik were rumoured to be dating, ahead of the release of their movie titled Love Aaj Kal.

As KJo had confirmed their relationship, he was also criticised for revealing personal information. When asked about such claims, Karan Johar told Siddharth Kannan, “But everyone knows about these relationships. I am not making anything up, everyone has seen them together. What is true is true and I suppose everyone is okay with it. I know people think it’s some kind of big revelation, everybody knows about everyone’s personal lives and they are okay with putting it out.”

For the unversed, earlier, the Koffee with Karan 7 host said, “Sara (Ali Khan) mentioned Kartik (Aaryan) and they started dating”. Soon, netizens had a meltdown after learning about the information.
