A lot of celebrities have quit social media after receiving immense negativity from netizens. Stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Aamir Khan, Aayush Sharma and many others have decided to bid adieu to social media. Now, the latest one to join the bandwagon is filmmaker Karan Johar who recently announced that he is quitting Twitter.

He recently dropped a statement mentioning that he quit Twitter to make space for positive energy. KJo wrote, “Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!” We quickly even went to our Twitter to check his account; shockingly, the account does not exist anymore. Karan Johar has indeed quit Twitter.

After he announced his goodbye on social media, he received mixed reactions from netizens. While some were extremely sad to see him leave, some rejoiced with the news. Nevertheless, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director is very much present on Instagram.
