Karan Johar to receive Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best TV Host

Here is a good news for our multi-talented Karan Johar, The director, who has been an active member of the Television fraternity will soon be bestowed upon the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award on April 21st for Best TV Host.

Karan is popular on TV for his stint on his controversial talk show Koffee With Karan. The show has become popular with every season, with some of the biggest Bollywood stars opening up about their professional and personal life on the show.

The particular award was earlier presented to actors Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh.

On the work front, Karan recently started shooting for the second installment of his franchise, ‘Student Of The Year’. The film will be directed by Punit Malhotra and stars Tiger Shroff along with debutantes Ananya and Tara.
