Karan Johar shares which actors he would cast in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai remake

Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the most loved movies of Bollywood. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. In a recent interview, Karan Johar was asked which actors he would cast in SRK, Kajol and Rani’s roles, if KKHH was remade.

Karan Johar told Times of India, “I would say Ranveer (Singh), Alia (Bhatt) and Janhvi (Kapoor). Alia would play Kajol’s role, Janhvi would play the hottie role – Rani from college and Ranveer would be Shah Rukh Khan.”

In Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh Khan essayed the role of Rahul. Kajol was his best friend Anjali and Rani played the role of their friend Tina.

On the work front, Karan is back with a new season of his celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan. The show premiered yesterday (July 7) on Disney+ Hotstar. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt were the first guests of KWK 7.

Alia, Ranveer and Jahnvi have interesting projects in the pipeline. Talking about Alia, she will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone. Ranveer will be sharing screen space with Alia in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. It also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Ranveer also has Cirkus in his kitty.

Janhvi, on the other hand, is currently busy shooting for her film Bawaal with Varun Dhawan. She has been sharing pictures and keeping fans updated. Apart from this, Janhvi will also be seen in Good Luck Jerry. The actress also has Mr and Mrs Mahi with RajKummar Rao and Milli.
