Is Karan Johar, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar’s film similar to Ajay Devgn’s movie?

Recently, it was announced that Salman Khan and Karan Johar will be co-producing a film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The details of film have not been disclosed, but according to a leading daily, the film is based on the famous battle of Saragarhi and Akki will be seen playing the role of Havaldar Ishar Singh, the military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers.

Well, the twist is that Ajay Devgn too is making a film based on the same man and the same battle. Ajay had announced the film last year and had titled it as ‘Sons Of Sardaar: Battle Of Saragarhi’.

While we are thinking that this might just be a co-incidence, another filmmaker from the industry says, “This looks like Karan’s still not over his fight with Ajay. He wants to take it to the next level. And with him announcing a heavyweight film like this which is similar to Ajay’s film and getting Salman to back it up, it’s already a victory for Karan. Now, it needs to be seen what Ajay’s next plans would be.”

We wonder how much truth is there in this report as Salman and Ajay share a great rapport with each other. On the other hand, Rajkumar Santoshi is also making a film on the same subject starring Randeep Hooda in the lead role. It looks like everyone wants to narrate the story of battle of Saragarhi.
