Karan Johar REACTS to the hate Koffee With Karan receives: ‘It’s entertaining’

Karan Johar is currently hosting the new season of his chat show Koffee With Karan. Karan Johar-hosted show ‘Koffee With Karan’ is one of the most popular chat shows. Over the years, Karan’s show has mired into controversies for multiple reasons. Now, Karan has opened up about the trolling the show receives. He called the hate and trolling ‘entertaining’.

Speaking with The Hindu, Karan said, “So, I don’t know how much of the hate and trolling is actually about the show; it’s really more about the fact that a show like this exists, and has this kind of abandon.”

He went on to add, “A lot of the hate sometimes is entertaining, because I wonder why they are cursing it so much, but also watching it? I read the threads on Twitter and other portals; reels and reels of discourse that people are having about KWK… and I feel very moved and touched. I’m like, that’s a lot of time you have taken out of your lives to write such a long column on something you hated so much.”

For the uninitiated, Koffee With Karan began in 2005. The seventh season of the show streams on Disney+ Hotstar. So far, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Vijay Deverakonda, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra have appeared on the show.

Up next, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who were seen together in Kabir Singh, will be making an appearance on the show.
