Karan Johar had been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in relation to the viral party video from 2019. The filmmaker has submitted a reply to the agency and they are now examining the documents they received from Johar.
According to a report by PTI, “The notice has been given w.r.t the video which was under circulation. NCB had received a complaint from Manjinder Sirsa in this regard and was marked to Maharashtra Zonal Unit. To check the veracity of the video the notice has been sent- NCB official KPS Malhotra.”
Now, according to a report by CNN-News18, Karan has submitted a reply to the NCB and denied any drug usage at the party. Reportedly, NCB sources have confirmed that they received Karan’s reply via pen drive. The pen drive also contains Johar’s statement. Karan also submitted additional videos and pictures from the party that are not in the public domain.

The NCB issued the notice after a complaint was filed by politician Manjinder Singh Sirsa. The party was attended by Bollywood celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and others.
