Karan Johar made his full-fledged acting debut in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’. The film turned out to be a disaster at the box office, and we didn’t get to see Karan in any movie after that. However, he will now be seen in Vashu Bhagnani’s ‘Boom Boom In New York’. The movie stars Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, and will have Karan in a double role.
Well, the movie is slated to release on February 23, 2018, and on the same day Rani Mukerji-starrer ‘Hichki’ is slated to hit the screens. ‘Hichki’ marks the comeback of Rani on the big screen after a gap of three years. So, on February 23 it will be Karan vs Rani at the box office.
For the uninitiated, Rani and Karan are related to each other. Rani’s hubby, Aditya Chopra is Karan’s cousin brother, this makes Rani, Karan’s cousin sister-in-law. And even if we ignore this relationship, Karan and Rani have been quite close to each other and the actress has worked with Karan in many films.
So, let’s see if the clash will be averted or not, and if this box office clash takes place which film will do better. (Also Read: Rani REVEALS Salman’s ‘Hichki’ and has a ball pulling his leg)
