‘Kalank’: Karan Johar shares the first glimpse of multi-starrer epic drama

Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’ has created a lot of buzz since its inception. A few days back Varun shared a fan poster on his Instagram handle that has increased our excitement. Today Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to share the first glimpse of ‘Kalank’. He has also dropped a hint that tomorrow the first look or the teaser might be out.

Karan shared a picture of a couple facing their back and they are seen sitting on a boat. Along with the poster, he wrote an emotional post saying, “A film that was born in my heart and mind 15 years ago….a film I passionately believe in…the last film my father worked on before he left us….it was his dream to see this film come through….I couldn’t fulfil his dream then….my spirit was broken.” Also, he has said that today his dad’s wish “has found a relationship with celluloid….the story of turbulent relationships and eternal love has found a voice.” ‘Kalank’ is ‘woven, nurtured and visualised’ by director Abhishek Varman. The movie is set on the backdrop of the 40s.

‘Kalank’ is an epic drama that has an ensemble cast including Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on April 19 this year.
