With the rave response film is recieving, he has proved that there is no one like him. To add fun to our weekend, the filmmaker have shared a BTS video from the setd documenting fun moments.

In the four-minute and 30-second long video, Karan is seen effortlessly ruling the director’s chair, while Ranveer and Alia share their experience. The actors spoke about having fabulous co-stars, getting into the skin of the character while and working with Karan Johar.

Sharing about being a part of the film, Alia said, “So I was excited to do a full-fledged Karan Johar-ish cinema kind of movie.” Ranveer added, “My first Dharma film as the leading man is with the man himself, Mr. Karan, and he’s got such good energy, such positive energy. It was like a touchstone of positivity.” Further praising Karan, Alia went on to say, “He is one of the greatest directors Indian cinema has ever seen. And the best part about Karan is how receptive he is to feedback and collaboration.”

Ranveer concluded by saying, “He lives and breathes entertainment; he lives and breathes cinema. Sometimes I wonder how he does it. If you asked me how it was working on ,Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,, I’d tell you I had the most fun. It was like friends coming together to make a movie.”

Talking about getting into the skin of the character, Ranveer said, “Rocky is the quintessential stud Delhi boy. Extremely vain, he’s the kind of character that makes you smile and makes you feel good. I feel like Karan collaborated to write a character for me.”

Alia was also talking about her character, stating, “Because I was being Bengali for the first time. As a Bengali girl brought up in Delhi, I wanted to get a little bit of an accent. I literally have to get into some skin of that character because I was wearing really sexy saris through the film. For me, I have to be in the best shape of my life.”

About the film

Apart from Alia and Ranveer, the flick also stars veterans like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. The story of the film is penned by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. While its music has been composed by Madan Mohan and Pritam.
