Karan Johar shares heartwarming post for Friend Forever Zoya Akhtar

Karan Johar shares a special bond of friendship with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar. On Sunday, the filmmaker took to Instagram and shared a picture with his “friend forever” Zoya. The throwback image showcases Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar posing for the camera.

The picture garnered love from fans and friends. The first to comment was Ranveer Singh. He wrote, “My Loves.” Ranveer has worked with Zoya for Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boys. He is also a part of Karan Johar’s comeback film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Zoya Akhtar has also dropped an adorable post dedicated to their special bond. Sharing a cute selfie, she wrote, “Saturday” and added the hashtags, “Once in a while selfie” and “old friend gold friend.”

Replying to the post, Karan said, “Love you, Zo.”

On the work front, Karan Johar is super busy with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra are also part of the project. It will hit the theatres on April 28 next year. The film marks Karan’s return to the director’s chair after ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ released in 2016. He also has Vicky Kaushal’s Govinda Naam Mera.

Zoya Akhtar is busy with The Archies and it features Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda and Vedang Raina. The movie is backed by Tiger Baby, Graphic India and Archie Comics and will release next year.
