Alia Bhatt marked her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’. It has been just seven years since Alia entered the film industry and she is already one of the best actresses of her generation. The 25-year-old actress has wowed everyone with her terrific acting prowess and every filmmaker is expressing their desire to work with her.
Last year, Alia Bhatt stunned everyone with her nuanced performance in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’. This year, she has earned rave reviews for her terrific performance as Ranveer Singh’s girlfriend Safeena in ‘Gully Boy‘. In fact, from the film’s trailer itself, everyone went gaga over Alia’s dialogue and her fierce attitude.
Now, Alia’s mentor Karan recently watched ‘Gully Boy’ and he was completely blown away not only with the film but by the performance of its ensemble cast as well. The filmmaker took to Instagram and wrote a lengthy post appreciating everyone associated with the film. He praised director Zoya and Ranveer Singh wholeheartedly.
When it came to appreciating Alia, Karan said that she explodes like a volcano every time she appears on the screen. KJo also said that Alia was so brilliant, that her character Safeena deserves a spin-off film of her own. I think everyone who has watched this film will completely agree with Karan.
