Karan Johar took to social media to share his shock and horror regarding the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. The two came together for ‘Drive’, which was directed by Tarun Mansukhani. SSR and KJo were also shee sharing cameos in ‘Welcome To New York’. They did share a warm camaraderie and that was what helped them bond so well with each other. With SSR’s sudden death, the whole film industry has been left in shock and sent into a state of grief.
Karan took to his Instagram to share a picture of the two together from an IIFA awards night. Have a look at the picture right here:

Along with the picture, KJo took the blame for having not spoken to SSR for over a year. Here’s what he had to say, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year….. I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times …some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them….Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me …to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations…..I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug ….??? (sic).”
May Sushant’s soul rest in peace.
