Karan Johar to host Comedy Nights With Kapil?

Stand up comedian Kapil Sharma‘s show Comedy Nights with Kapil is the much awaited show on weekends. Recently the actor cum comedian took to Twitter to inform his fans that his show Comedy Nights With Kapil will be going off air, as he has been advised bed rest. He had also added that the Salman Khan episode will be the last one of his show after which it will be going off the air.

Now apparently there are rumors resounding in Bollywood that Comedy Nights with Kapil will not be going off air, but will be having four Bollywood celebrities as solo hosts. One of the host will be Karan Johar. Apparently one episode each will be hosted by the celebrities, from whom only Karan Johar has been finalized till date.

Sources said, “Kapil Sharma who will be soon marking his Bollywood debut in Abbas Mustan film has suffered a slip disc while working out in the gym. He has gone to Vancouver for his treatment. He will rest for almost a month after returning to Mumbai. The channel was contemplating if the other characters on Comedy Nights should also be given a break while they work out a fresh concept for the show. However, they eventually decided to run it with the current characters and rope in four big names as hosts.”
