If you’ve watched ‘Bombay Velvet’, you will remember Karan Johar’s rib-tickling performance as an actor in the same. The movie flunked big time, but we still remember the actors and their deliverance.
Moving on to present. If reports are to be believed, then the renowned director-producer might don the actor’s hat soon enough. To add to it, he might play a double role this time!
We earlier reported how Wizcraft Entertainment, the organisers of IIFA, were planning for a feature film and also decided to bring Sonakshi Sinha, Diljit Dosanjh and Aditya Roy Kapur for it. The film was tentatively titled ‘Crazy Hum’. Apparently, Karan will have a meaty and full-fledged role in the same. (Also Read: The wait is over! We now have photos of Karan Johar’s twins)
“Details of his character have been kept under wraps. This is the biggest surprise of the film. The writers who are working on the set are constantly innovating every day to enhance their script and it was then that they got this brilliant idea of having Karan’s duplicate,” a source close to developments told DNA.
Before this, we have seen him doing cameos in films like ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Fashion’ and ‘Luck By Chance’. However, the first ever time he ever acted was in Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer cult romantic flick ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le jayenge’ wherein he played SRK’s friend. It would be interesting to see how he treats a double role!
On the personal front, the actor is now living a fulfilling and content time with his twins Yash and Roohi. Recently, as the two completed six months, he took to his social media handles and shared an adorable photo of them along with granny Hiroo Johar. Quite interestingly, Kajol, an ex-bestie with whom Karan’s equation almost reached cliff, was delighted to see the babies and hit a like on it too, to which Karan responded by following her back on Insta!
New beginning of their friendship, is it?
