Karan Johar tries to be matchmaker for Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon

Filmmaker Karan Johar has played cupid for many Bollywood celebs like Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi, Sidharth Malhotra-Alia Bhatt (though they are not together now), Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the list continues. In fact, during one of the episodes of ‘Koffee With Karan’, Abhishek said, “Karan was the cupid who kept putting in the idea that she is fantastic. You both will look so wonderful together. She looks so glamorous in the house when she walks.”

And now, he wants to turn cupid for Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon.

Recently, ‘Luka Chuppi’ stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon appeared in ‘Koffee With Karan 6’. It so happened that when Karan asked Kriti about her relationship status hinting at Sushant, the latter refused to have dated her ‘Raabta’ co-star. KJo then made the revelation that he has tried to hook up Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon in one of the parties. “I have tried to kind of play matchmaker. And I remember there was a party where you were standing with Aditya Roy Kapur, who told me how cute he found you. And after that I always thought that you two are tall, beautiful, good-looking people and that something will happen. And I try at every party but I just always fail.”

This revelation by Karan made Kriti burst into laughter and she said, “Do you? I think you should try harder, Karan. Because it’s not happening.”
