Karan Johar has watched Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, and here is what he has to say…

All the controversies and issues related to his directorial comeback ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ aside, Karan Johar recently turned critic for good friend Aamir Khan, as the latter had invited the ace director for the screening of his movie, ‘Dangal’. Karan had gone for the screening, which was held at Aamir’s residence, along with Ranbir Kapoor. Zoya Akhtar, Javed Akhtar, and Ayan Mukerji were amongst others who were invited.

Karan was simply stumped by the movie, and the extent to which he loved the concept and execution can be judged from this single tweet of his.

‘Dangal’ is a much awaited story on the life of Mahavir Phogat, who despite all resistance from the patriarchal society, trained his daughter Babita and Geeta Phogat in professional wrestling. Both the daughters go on to secure medals.

Coming from Karan Johar, seems like ‘Dangal’ is indeed going to be an interesting watch. We are definitely waiting for it.
