Karan Johar made an impressive debut with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,’ but his next project certainly made him the most successful director. When he revived the concept of Multi- starrer films in the new millennium decade taking six biggest superstars in the country for a film titled ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham‘ which marks its 14th anniversary today.
K3G (‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’) had an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Karan Johar always had an admiration for the movies directed by Yash Chopra. His idea to make a multi- starrer with a clash between two generations was an idea he got from Yash Chopra’s classic ‘Kabhi Kabhie.’ His film title projected this with an extra ‘e’ added to the word ‘Kabhie’ same as the classic movie of Yash Chopra.
Today Karan Johar took to twitter to share his happiness on the movie tweeting:
