Today is April Fool’s Day and we have already been inundated with dozens of news and messages, some shocking and some funny, which are in reality just pranks. Now, filmmaker Karan Johar, who is known for his superb sense of humour, had a fabulous idea in mind to fool one and all. But the man dropped the idea. Wonder why? Read on…

He  was supposed to announce that he was going to be acting in a movie but soon realised that people will consider him to be stupid and hence dropped the novel idea. He wrote on his Twitter page, “I wanted to post that I will be acting in my next directorial film as an #AprilFoolsDay joke! Then I realised that people will think I am stupid and deluded enough to actually do it!”

Meanwhile, the doting daddy to twins recently confessed that his daughter Roohi called him ‘papa’ for the very first time. Workwise, he is collaborating with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for the first time on the ambitious project titled ‘Simmba’ which stars Ranveer Singh and newbie Sara Ali Khan in it.
