Kareena Kapoor with Akshay Kumar In ‘Singh Is Bling’

Bollywood actress Katrina kaif to star opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Singh Is Bling’ were the rumours floating, as it was highly assumed that Katrina Kaif would be cast alongside Akshay on looking at their superb pairing and the hit they have delivered together. But finally it has been revealed that it is not Katrina Kaif but Kareena Kapoor who has bagged the project.

As per sources, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor worked together in movies like Ajnabee, Talaash, Aitraaz, Dosti, Bewafaa, Tashan and Kambakkht Ishq and now again Prabhu Deva has roped them together. Prabhu Deva films are known to be male oriented so will Kareena do such a role? Prabhu says, “The heroines in my film always have their own space in the plot. Was Sonakshi Sinha in Rowdy Rathod or R… Rajkumar just a decorative doll? No way! My films may be titled after the hero, but the heroine has no reason to complain.”

Producer Ashvini Yardi is tight lipped about it though and said, “It’s too early to talk about it. We are yet to finalise the lead actress. We will make an announcement later this month.”
