Kareena Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana will NOT work together in Meghna Gulzar’s next directorial; here’s why

Earlier, reports were stating that actors Kareena Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana have given a nod to Meghna Gulzar for her next directorial venture. But if the latest reports are to be believed then Kareena and Ayushmann will not be seen together in this movie. According to Mid-Day, Ayushmann is too busy for Kareena and Meghna as he has backed out of the movie, owing to scheduled dates.

Ayushmann Khurrana has a packed scheduled

A source told the portal, “Ayushmann’s music tour is already announced, and it includes multiple performances across major US cities. Plus, besides Border 2, he has committed to two movies, one with Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor, and another with Maddock Films. The dates are currently being negotiated for all the projects, but Meghna’s movie is not on his list.” Furthermore, the production team and Gulzar are scouting for a suitable replacement.

Earlier, a Pinkvilla report said, “It’s a hard-hitting film that warrants the presence of actors with the calibre of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana. The duo read the script and were shocked by the details of the case. After Talvar, this is another film that could shock the nation and stir a conversation about the case.”

Khurrana was last seen in Dream 2 with Ananya Panday. On the other hand, Bebo is gearing up for the release of The Buckingham Murder.
