Kareena Kapoor has THIS to say on her equation with Sara Ali Khan

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is one strong individual, on and off the screen. The 38-year-old actress comes across as very genuine and speaks her mind without fearing about repercussions. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress lives life on her own terms and is happily married to Saif Ali Khan.

Now, Sara Ali Khan, who is Kareena’s step-daughter has made a fantastic start to her career and is still basking in the glory of ‘Simmba’. In an interview with MissMalini, Kareena spoke about her equation with Sara and does she herself as a mother figure to the daughter of Saif and Amrita Singh.

Bebo being very forthright made her stand clear and said, ”I have always said that we are friends more than anything else. That’s the most important. We respect each other. I think it’s the start of a beautiful journey ahead for her in this industry because I saw Kedarnath and I genuinely feel she has the best of both her parents and you know, I can never be her mother because that’s not what I am to her. But I can always be her friend!”

Sara Ali Khan during her appearance with father Saif Ali Khan on ‘Koffee with Karan 6’ had also said that she admires and respects Kareena.

Both, Sara and Kareena have been very mature about how to deal with each other. In fact, Sara is very fond of Kareena’s son Taimur Ali Khan. We certainly hope that Sara Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor maintain this terrific bond.
