Kareena Kapoor is excited for mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore as she makes acting comeback after 13 years

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore is all set to make her acting comeback after 13 years, and amongst the most excited people for it is Kareena Kapoor. The last time Sharmila ji appeared on screen was in the 2010 film Break Ke Baad. It featured Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan. Now, she will be seen in her new film Gulmohar.

Kareena Kapoor wishes Sharmila Tagore for Gulmohar

Taking to her Instagram, Kareena wished her mother-in-law for her return to acting. Sharing a teaser video of Sharmila ji’s upcoming project Gulmohar on her stories, Kareena wrote, “Amazing… looking forward to this!” with a heart emoji. The actress sure seems excited for her mother-in-law’s return to her first love of acting.

Kareena Kapoor wishes mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore on her acting comeback after 13 years

Gulmohar is a family drama which features Sharmila ji alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Suraj Sharma. The film will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar from March 3, 2023. This is the first time Manoj and Sharmila ji will be coming together on screen. Its trailer will be unveiled on Saturday, and prior to that the platform released an exciting teaser video for it featuring Manoj and Sharmila ji.

Not just Kareena and Sharmila ji, but the whole Pataudi family is very close to each other. They often take family trips together and last year, they celebrated Sharmila ji’s birthday with a safari trip. Apart from these two ladies, even Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and the next gen of the family, Taimur Ali Khan, Inaya Kemmu and Jeh Ali Khan also came on the trip. As for Sharmila ji, the excitement for her on screen comeback is quite high even amongst the audiences. Add to that, a talent like Manoj, and you already have a winner at hand.
