Kareena Kapoor and BFF Amrita Arora test positive for COVID-19, Report

Kareena Kapoor Khan and her best friend, Amrita Arora have been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to a report. Kareena Kapoor has tested COVID positive. However, both Kareena and Amrita are yet to make an official confirmation on the same. As per reports in ANI, the Laal Singh Chaddha actress and Arora reportedly flouted COVID rules by attending a few get-togethers in the city. The reports mentioned that the ones who have come in close contact with Kareena Kapoor and Amrita have been asked to undergo tests after the celebs tested COVID positive.

The news agency took to Twitter and reported about Kareena and Amrita testing positive. As per the report, the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has ordered everyone who has come in contact with Kareena and Amrita to undergo an RT-PCR test.

The tweet reads: “Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora tested positive for #COVID19. Both of them had violated COVID norms and attended several parties. BMC has ordered people, who came in contact with the two actors, to undergo RT-PCR test: BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) (sic).”

Meanwhile, only recently, veteran actor Kamal Haasan had tested positive for the virus. He was diagnosed with the virus after his return from the US. The actor was later admitted to a Chennai hospital. Apart from Kamal Haasan, actor Amit Sadh had also tested positive for coronavirus. The actor had taken to his Instagram to inform everyone about it.

On the work front, Kapoor has the film Laal Singh Chaddha in the pipeline. It is scheduled to release on Baisakhi 2022. The film also stars Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh.
