Last month, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan made a public appeal to the media and paparazzi, urging them to refrain from taking photographs of their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan. This request came shortly after Saif was attacked by an intruder in his Bandra home on January 16, 2025, where he was stabbed six times. In light of the traumatic incident, the couple took a firm stance on protecting their children’s privacy.

Kareena Kapoor Khan requests paps to not click Jeh & Taimur’s pictures

Kareena reiterated her request while attending her father Randhir Kapoor’s 78th birthday celebration. Although the actress was more than happy to pose for photographs during the occasion, she once again made it clear to the paparazzi that they should not take pictures of her children. As she was spotted by the cameras on Saturday afternoon, Kareena smiled but immediately addressed the photographers, saying, “Mera photos leke aap log please chale jaao. Bachchon ka bola tha…” (You can take my pictures and leave, please. I had told you about the kids’ photos…). The paparazzi complied with her request, assuring her that they would not photograph her children. Following this, Kareena Kapoor Khan smiled and posed for several shots, before leaving the venue. Before departing, she once again reminded the photographers to respect her children’s privacy.

Kareena was dressed casually for the occasion, wearing an oversized white shirt paired with baggy denim jeans and a black belt. She completed her relaxed look with dark sunglasses and white sneakers.

Saif Ali Khan on his attack

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Saif Ali Khan spoke about the harrowing attack in an interview with Delhi Times, recalling the moments after the stabbing. The actor explained how the intruder managed to escape, “He escaped the way he came – though we didn’t know that. He had gone the way he came in – which was up a drainpipe into the kids’ bathroom. I don’t think he knew where he was. And we all headed downstairs. It was a filmi scene where I was covered in blood and we took two decorative swords off the wall. And that’s what Taimur saw – me covered in blood and Hari, the other house help, holding two swords. So, it was vaguely heroic, at least that moment (laughs).”

Despite sustaining six stab wounds, two of which were dangerously close to his spine, Saif managed to make his way to Lilavati Hospital. His resilience in the face of such a violent attack has been widely admired, though the incident left the family shaken.
