Post son Taimur Ali Khan’s birth, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has inspired millions of women out there in the country, with her tremendous weight loss by following her workout regime strictly. In a recent interview with Mid-Day, one of the fittest mums of Bollywood, Kareena, opened up on her workout, love for food and the way people judged her during her pregnancy phase.
When asked if she would ever put-on weight for a film, the ‘Jab We Met’ actress was quick to say she would definitely do so.“I mean, if I was in a Bridget Jones Diary, I’d gain weight again for it, and then go back to losing it. The script has to be amazing,” added Bebo.
Reminicising her pregnancy phase, the actress revealed the way people judged her at that point in time. She said, “I was bearing a child. It was obvious that I would put on weight. But I wasn’t [rattled]. I enjoyed my pregnancy. I absolutely loved it. Losing the weight after that was another journey. I remember, sometimes, I’d wear tight pants, and people would tell me, ‘You’ve put on so much weight. Your thighs are so big.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t care because I’m working on losing it’. Honestly, I’m comfortable in any shape and size.”
Concluding her chat with the leading daily, the true-blue Punjabi lady mentioned that she cannot live without wholesome food because she is a Kapoor with a Punjabi built.
