Kareena Kapoor Khan CONFIRMS she has tested COVID-19 positive, issues a statement

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to her Instagram stories and dropped a statement regarding the same. She mentioned that she has isolated herself immediately after learning about her contracting the virus. The Laal Singh Chaddha actress said that she is following the necessary medical protocols. Moreover, Bebo asked everyone to get themselves tested who were in close proximity. Kareena Kapoor issued an official statement on her testing COVID positive.

Assuring that she will be back soon, Kareena’s statement read: “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who had come in contact with me please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”

Meanwhile, after Kareena Kapoor tested Covid positive, her father Randhir told India Today that Bebo has mild symptoms and has quarantined herself at her home. Randhir Kapoor said, “She was tested positive yesterday. The doctor said it is very mild. She is feeling much better today. The kids are with her only. She is home quarantined”

The Good Newwz actor’s spokesperson even mentioned that along with Kareena even her bestie Amrita Arora tested positive for Covid-19. “She and Amrita Arora contracted Covid-19 at an intimate dinner where a few friends had gathered to catch up. It wasn’t a big dinner, just a few people close to Bebo (Kareena Kapoor)“, her spokesperson said.
