Kareena Kapoor Khan does not want Taimur and Jehangir to be ‘Movie Stars’

Kareena Kapoor, who is one of the popular actresses, recently opened up on kids Taimur Ali Khan, Jehangir Ali Khan and motherhood. In a recent interview with the HT Brunch, Kareena expressed that her second son Jeh looks like her while Taimur looks like hubby Said Ali Khan. She also revealed how Taimur, when he was 6-months-old did not like too many faces around, while Jeh is quite comfortable. She added how she would be happy if her kids come and tell her about what they want to become. The actress also shared how Taimur is quite similar to his dad Saif in terms of personality while Jeh is like a mix of both. While Tim being a Sagittarian is quite creative and loves exploring and is curious about everything, Jeh is a typical Piscean.

Talking about their future, she said, “I want both my sons to be thorough gentlemen, I want people to say they are well-brought-up, kind-hearted and I will think my job is well done. I don’t want them to be movie stars. I’ll be happy if Tim comes and tells me I want to do something else… climb Mount Everest may be… that’s his choice. I want to stand by and support my boys.”

Talking about what kind of mother Kareena would be, the actress shared that she doesn’t want to be the helicopter mom. “I want them to fall and learn because that’s the way my mother taught me. My mother was like, do what you want, make your mistakes and then learn to repair them because that’s the way it works. So that’s the way I am parenting both the boys.”

She also addressed the hate that she and her family members are receiving over the names of their sons.
Speaking to India Today, Kareena said, “You know I am a very, very positive person. I am very happy and content. I want to spread happiness and positivity in a time like Covid, I can’t think of trolls or I can’t think of any form of negativity. There are two sides to a coin. So it’s okay. If there is positivity, there is negativity, I have to look at it like that. I wish there wasn’t. Because we have two innocent children we are talking about. But we are going to stay happy and positive.”

On the work front, Kareena will be next seen Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Aamir Khan. She recently released a book based on her pregnancy journey and the same received good reviews.
