Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor remembered their uncle Rajiv Kapoor on his death anniversary. Rajiv Kapoor, the youngest son of filmmaker Raj Kapoor, and the brother of actors Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor passed away on February 9, last year. The day today marks his first death anniversary. Rajiv was best known for his role in the movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili. On the first death anniversary of Rajiv Kapoor, his nieces, actresses Kareena Kapoor and Karisma took to their Instagram stories and shared throwback pictures. They made emotional posts, remembering their late uncle.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the Laal Singh Chaddha actress shared a throwback picture featuring Raj Kapoor, Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor. The picture shows the brothers posing for a family photo with their father. Kareena re-posted a post made by her sister Karisma and remembered him. She shared the post and dropped a red heart emoji.
Earlier, Karisma shared the old photo of the Kapoor’s and wrote, “Chimpu uncle you are missed #RajivKapoor.”

Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor also shared a throwback photo of Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. She posted the picture and remembered Rishi and Rajiv. The Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress said that she misses them. Sharing the picture, Neetu wrote, “Miss you both. A year already.”

Rajiv Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with the 1983 film titled Ek Jaan Hain Hum. He even featured in films like Aasmaan (1984), Lover Boy (1985), Zabardast (1985), Hum To Chale Pardes (1988), and Zimmedaaar (1990). His last appearance as an actor was in Zimmedaaar, after which he turned to direction and production.

Chimpu Kapoor had suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital by brother Randhir Kapoor. However, the actor was declared dead on arrival, by the doctors.
