EXCLUSIVE: Kareena Kapoor Khan not doing ‘Salute’?

Shah Rukh Khan has not announced his next film, post ‘Zero’. But our sources have confirmed that he has given his nod to the Rakesh Sharma biopic titled ‘Salute’. Shah Rukh Khan is currently waiting for the producers to lock in on the leading lady before making the big announcement.

The film was being planned with Aamir Khan and Priyanka Chopra as the main leads, but once Aamir opted out citing date issues, Priyanka Chopra too copped out. There were rumours that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been offered the part but a source close to the heroine has denied all such stories. A source revealed, “Kareena has not even been approached for the film yet. She has liked the Hindi adaptation of Aapla Manus, that’s it. If she is offered the part, then she can talk about it. Right now, she’s definitely not doing Salute.”
