Kareena Kapoor Khan roped in to play a spunky woman in Karan Johar’s next?

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently sweating it out in the gym as she is gearing up to start shooting for her comeback film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which will soon be going on floors. But, there’s something else about her that is making enough buzz around. Reportedly, the actress is all set to team up yet again with her friend and filmmaker Karan Johar for his upcoming production venture.

According to reports, Kareena had been waiting for Karan to finalise the script for quite some time. But, the filmmaker was busy spending time with his newborn twins, Roohi and Yash and as a result, was unable to focus on the script. (Also Read: Whom does Taimur Ali Khan resemble; Khans or Pataudis? Reportedly, the film is a light, breezy and slice-of-life story where Kareena’s character will be that of a spunky woman. Reports suggest that the actress has loved the script and will be signing the project by the end of this month.

The film’s pre-production will begin later this year and the project will go on floors by early 2018.

But, an official confirmation is still awaited from the actress and the makers.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan Johar have earlier collaborated in films like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…’, ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’, ‘Kurbaan’, ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, ‘We Are Family’ and ‘Brothers’ (the actress had a special appearance).
