Kareena Kapoor Khan to star as the second lead with Sonam Kapoor in Rhea’s chick flick

We informed you yesterday how Katrina Kaif has been replaced by Swara Bhaskar in Rhea Kapoor directorial chick-flick, tentatively titled ‘Veeray Di Shaadi’, which will have Sonam Kapoor in the lead. Well, here is another exciting development from the film.

According to a report on DNA, the movie will apparently have Kareena Kapoor Khan as the second lead of the film. Reveals a source, “Rhea wants a powerful team of actresses and she feels Kareena will suit the bill perfectly. Kareena has not signed anything post Udta Punjab and this will possibly be her next film. Talks are on and an announcement will be made formally very soon. In all probability, it will indeed be Bebo and Sonam saath-saath.”

Kareena too confirmed that she has been offered the role, but is still thinking about it.

The source further adds, “Swara Bhaskar plays the third friend. For the character of the fourth girl in the all-girl group, the makers have finalised Tiku Talsania’s daughter Shikha Talsania (best known for her role in Wake Up Sid). While Sonam and Bebo play the leads, Swara and Shikha will be the supporting leads.”

With the cast so interesting, this is going to be one hell of a chick-flick.
