Kareena Kapoor Khan takes a dig at young actors as she praises Rani Mukerji and Tabu: They are doing better than them

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently stated that her contemporaries Rani Mukerji and Tabu are doing better than the young actors.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. Over the years, Bebo has been a part of films like Heroine, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, 3 Idiots, and Laal Singh Chaddha among others. The actress last delivered a terrific performance in Netflix’s Jaane Jaan, which marked her OTT debut. Jaane Jaan also starred Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Kareena is currently in a happy space. In a recent interview, Bebo took a dig at young actors and heaped praises on Rani Mukerji and Tabu.

Speaking with Forbes India, Kareena said, “All these actors are doing better than even, sorry, but even the younger lot. We’re all raring to go. Age is just a number now and it shouldn’t even be discussed. You’re all not asking the old crop of actors how old they are, so how are we being asked.”

Bebo added, “They (Rani and Tabu) are the most talented actors we’ve had in the Indian film industry. Rani is absolutely cinematic in every which way. Whatever role she plays, she just transforms on the screen. You cannot take your eyes off her. Tabu, for that matter, is one of the finest actors again the Indian industry has ever seen. For them, no one’s thinking of age. They’re entertaining the audience. We’re here to entertain. How does age matter?”

Kareena’s upcoming movies

For the uninitiated, Kareena has worked with Rani in Mujhse Dosti Karoge. On the other hand, she will be working with Tabu in The Crew. The Crew also stars Kriti Sanon. Fans are beyond excited to see Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti onscreen together. For the unversed, The Crew is slated to release on March 22, 2024.

That’s not all, Kareena also has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again in the pipeline. In November, the makers of Singham Again revealed Bebo’s look from the film and left fans excited.
