Kareena Kapoor reveals her advice for soon-to-be-parents Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child. Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April. The actress announced her pregnancy in June. Alia is currently enjoying babymoon with husband Ranbir Kapoor. The couple is beyond happy and excited to welcome their first baby. Kareena Kapoor, who shares a great bond with cousin Ranbir Kapoor and sister-in-law Alia Bhatt, was asked if she has any advice for soon-to-be-parents.

Kareena Kapoor said that she is happy for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. She then told Siddharth Kannan, “I follow what I think is right and I think mothers know best eventually. So she is also going to have this journey and she should experience this on her own. Ranbir is probably…. he will probably give advice to everyone, what advice would he need from anyone? Ranbir is just the best and he knows that ‘I am just the best’, he has that attitude and we both are quite similar like that.”

Earlier, in an interview with Mid-Day, Kareena had reacted to Alia’s decision to have a baby at 29. The actress had said, “I think it’s the bravest and coolest decision for Alia. She is promoting her film, looking ravishing as ever. There is no bigger star than her today, and I am not being biased because she is a part of my family. I am saying this because she is a spectacular actor. After delivery, she will go on to do the best of films. She has stood up for the most beautiful feeling, which is ‘I want to have a child with the man I love’. She wants to experience the beautiful thing in life, and I love her more for that. I am her fan.”

On the work front, Alia, Kareena and Ranbir have interesting projects in the pipeline. Kareena recently starred in Laal Singh Chaddha. She shared screen space with Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in the same. Shah Rukh Khan has also made a cameo in the film. Up next, Kareena has The Devotion of Suspect X with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Talking about Alia, she will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Fans are beyond excited for Brahmastra as Alia will be sharing screen space with husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor in the same. Brahmastra, which is slated to release in September this year, also stars Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan will be making a cameo in the film. Apart from this, Alia also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and her Hollywood debut film Heart of Gold. On the other hand, apart from Brahmastra, Ranbir has Animal and Luv Ranjan’s next.
