Kareena Kapoor reveals why she auditioned for her role in Laal Singh Chaddha

Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most talented and successful actors in Bollywood. Kareena will be seen opposite Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha. In a recent interview, Bebo opened up about the film and revealed that she auditioned for her role in Laal Singh Chaddha.

When asked if she agreed to be a part of the film because Aamir Khan was in it, Kareena told Prabhat Khabar, “Aamir does not work like that. He never says do this film because I am also in it. He always says ‘listen to the story first of all’. He asked me to listen to a narration for this film as well. He gave me a four-hour-long narration and that is why I said yes to Laal Singh Chaddha.”

The actress added, “I had to even give an audition for Laal Singh Chaddha. It was so that I could prove I am apt for the role, and I am perfect for the older part.” Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. For the uninitiated, it is a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Laal Singh Chaddha is slated to release on 11 August, 2022.

Apart from this, Kareena has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actress will be seen in The Devotion of Suspect X which will be released on Netflix. Bebo will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in the same. Other than that, Bebo also recently confirmed collaboration with Rhea Kapoor. She told PTI, “I am doing a film with Rhea. It is not Veere 2 (Veere Di Wedding). It is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It is a super cool and fun story. Rhea has got two stellar actors. I can’t reveal the cast, but I am very excited.”
