Kareena Kapoor says she’d love to recreate the look of THIS iconic character of hers and you’d wish it comes true

Kareena Kapoor has been entertaining the audience with her histrionics for over two decades now and in this time, she has given life to some iconic characters that have been etched in the history of Indian cinema. From portraying the flamboyant Poo, to the confident Chameli, the full of life Geet or the the strong-headed cop in Angrezi Medium, the actress has always hit the mark perfectly with her skills. And recently, she gave quite an interesting answer in an interview that raised the excitement of her fans.

In a recent conversation with Indian Express, Kareena Kapoor was asked that if given a choice, which of the iconic character’s look that she has portrayed in her films, would she like to recreate. The actress chose a fan-favourite character as her answer and it just left everyone excited. She said, “Since ‘Poo’ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is one of my most iconic characters, I would love to recreate that look of mine.”

Kareena became an instant style icon when she appeared as Pooja aka Poo in the Karan Johar directorial, and that character is still loved by the audience and considered one of her best works. It has become a cult classic over the years and seeing Kareena recreate that magic would surely be a delight to watch.

The actress is currently shooting near Lava in Kalimpong for Sujoy Ghosh’s yet-untitled film which is an adaptation of  the novel The Devotion of Suspect X. The film marks her digital debut as it will stream on Netflix and also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma alongside her. Kareena has been treating her fans with glimpses from the shoot with her cast mates as well as sons Taimur and Jeh and the audience is also loving her shoot diaries. Apart from this film, the actress also has the release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in August this year.
