Saif Ali Khan has made his web debut with a bang in Netflix’s first Indian original series, ‘Sacred Games’. The web series is being loved by the audience and has got everyone talking. Saif, who plays the role of Sartaj Singh, a police officer is happy with the response ‘Sacred Games’ has received.
In an interview with BollywoodLife, Saif said, “The response has been very nice and very encouraging. It is a great feeling that it has been globally accepted, by reviewers that don’t normally review the movie I do, but they reviewed the show. They find it to be internationally competitive which is a wonderful achievement for the Phantom films and the whole cast and crew. Good that we can make stuff in India that the world can watch.”
“My most recent kid can’t actually speak so he hasn’t got anything to say about it.” he joked. He then added,”My other kids have not mentioned it, I don’t know why.”
But his son, Ibrahim has seen the series. After thinking for a while, he recollects and says, “Yes, Ibrahim loved it. I think Sara is too busy shooting.” For those who do not know, Sara is soon going to make her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’. She will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ opposite Ranveer Singh.
And what was Bebo’s reaction after watching ‘Sacred Games‘? Saif says, “Kareena loved it too, but she has not seen the whole thing. I am going to make her watch it when we go back to Bombay.”
