‘Chennai Express’ producer Karim Morani tests positive for Covid-19

Two days back we told you about sisters, Zoa and Shaza Morani being diagnosed with Coronavirus and now the latest reports suggest that their father Karim Morani too has tested positive for Covid-19.

After Zoa and Shaza tested positive, the entire Morani family were tested and now their father Karim is Covid-19 positive as well. The producer has been shifted to Nanavati hospital for further treatment. Confirming the news, Karim’s brother Mohomed Morani told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, we have been anticipating this as he was with his daughters. Karim has tested positive of coronavirus.”

The producer’s daughter, Zoa is admitted in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, whereas her sister Shaza is also in Nanavati Hospital.

Earlier talking about her diagnosis, Zoa had told Times of India, “I was the one showing the symptoms and that’s the reason my sister Shaza and I agreed to do the test. As a precaution, the doctors asked me to do the test again and so now I am in the hospital. They have put me under observation. There are other suspected COVID-19 patients here too. I was only allowed to carry limited stuff. I have got some books with me for company as nobody is allowed to meet us.”

In Bollywood, after Kanika Kapoor, the Morani family were the second one to be affected by the deadly virus.
