Karishma Tanna to play Ranbir Kapoor’s love interest in the Sanjay Dutt biopic

Karishma Tanna is already a popular name in the TV circuit and enjoys tremendous fan-following all over. She made her stint in last year’s ‘Bigg Boss’ and left quite an impression with her antics.

However, when Karishma made her Bollywood debut with the sex comedy ‘Grand Masti’, in 2013, her stint in the movie did not quite have the impact which she expected. Soon after, people forgot the debut. However, now, the lady is all set to be back and how. Karishma has already shot for her second Bollywood film, which is none other than the Sanjay Dutt biopic, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role. The actress will be seen playing Ranbir’s love interest in the film and has already shot her part in a three-day schedule, which took place in the posh locales of Malabar Hill in Mumbai.

This sure is a big break for the pretty actress.

Apart from Karishma, the film directed by Rajkumar Hirani also stars Sonam Kapoor, who will reportedly be essaying the role of Tina Munim, one of Dutt’s love interest. While Dia Mirza is all set to play the part of Sanjay’s wife Maanayata Dutt, Anushka Sharma too will be playing a pivotal part in the film. Paresh Rawal will be playing Sanjay Dutt’s father, late actor Sunil Dutt, in the film.

The pictures of Ranbir Kapoor from the shoot have already made it to the internet and we are simply bowled over with his makeover and how he has adapted himself in looks and demeanour, to look just like Dutt.

With such an interesting starcast, we just cannot wait for the movie to release already.
