Karisma Kapoor: My daughter Samaira is my biggest fashion critic

Actress Karisma Kapoor is often spotted at social dos and family outings, and is always lauded for her ultimate fashion sense.

Karisma might not be working on any film as of now, but don’t we just love her styling sense, everytime she makes a media appearance? Well, all thanks to her biggest fashion critic.

The actress recently claimed that her daughter, Samaira is her fashion critic and seldom advises her on what and what not to wear for outings. “Well, my daughter Samaira is my biggest fashion critic. (Laughs) When I dress up for events, if she doesn’t like what I’m wearing, she will be like, ‘Mom, change these shoes. I really don’t like it.’ She has great fashion sense and she completely participates in everything,” said Karisma.

The actress also said that she likes to be more of a friend with her daughter than a mother. “It is very important to be a friend to your kids. We have started to discuss things. Of course, we both have that respect and we both know there are boundaries. But it is very important. Also, it’s because Kareena and I grew up being friends with our parents. So that’s why it has become an important aspect in my behaviour, too,” she concluded.
