Karisma Kapoor is missing uncle Rishi Kapoor; shares a throwback family photo

Rishi Kapoor‘s sudden demise is not only a loss for the Bollywood industry but also for the entire Kapoor khandaan. Though Rishi was known to be brutish, arrogant and short-tempered, he was good at heart who always cared for his family and friends.

Remembering Rishi Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor shared a throwback picture of her uncle celebrating Randhir Kapoor’s birthday with the whole family. In the picture, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rima Jain, Armaan Jain, Saif Ali Khan, Aadar Jain and Kunal Kapoor among others can be seen posing for the camera. She captioned it, “Family,” with a heart emoji.

Karisma also took to her Instagram story to share a throwback picture of her with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. In the picture, along with the couple, we also see little Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Kareena Kapoor. The photo was taken in Kashmir in the year 1988 as mentioned in the caption by Karisma.

Earlier, while sharing a childhood picture of herself with Rishi Kapoor and her grandfather Raj Kapoor, Karisma wrote, “Always looking over family. Chintu uncle will miss discussing food and restaurants with you.”

Rishi Kapoor left for his heavenly abode on April 30 in a hospital in Mumbai. He was 67. In 2018 he was diagnosed with cancer. He immediately left for New York with his family and after his treatment for almost a year, he was back in India last year. He lost his life battling leukemia for two years.
