Nostalgia HITS! Karisma Kapoor-Sonali Bendre have a Hum Saath Saath Hain reunion after 14 years with an icionic song

Stunned by their beauty and acting prowess, we were captivated as Karisma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre united onscreen in the family movie Hum Saath Saath Hai. The movie was released in 1999. It is till date loved by fans and is holds a place in the Hindi cinema history. Recently, the two actresses came together on the sets of the dance reality show India’s Best Dancer. As they reunited, they made sure to do the hooksteps of their iconic song Mhare Hivda Mein from their movie.

Sonali Bendre took to her Instagram to share lovely moments with her co-star from Hum Saath Saath Hai. There were four leading ladies in the movie and the two reunited on the sets of the dance show. Karisma joined in on the sets as a guest judge. She is wearing a shimmery silver short kurti with a long skirt giving it an ethnic-modern vibe. On the other hand, Sonali donned a yellow and orange Anarkali.

As they met they danced together to their iconic song, Mhare Hivda Mein. In every sense, nostalgia hit us. Karisma and Sonali both remembered their steps to perfection. Their expression is as fresh as yesterday. Sonali even remembered her other co-stars from the films Neelam Kothari and Tabu. She wrote, “Had to remake this one… Reminiscing the g(old) time! Missed you @tabutiful @neelamkotharisoni.”

The 1999 film Hum Saath Saath Hain was directed by Sooraj Barjatya. It was a complete family drama movie. Apart from Sonali and Karisma it also starred Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam Kothari and Mohnish Bahl.

On the work front, Karisma Kapoor will be making her OTT debut with the web-series Brown. Apart from this, she will also be in the movie Murder Mubharak. Meanwhile, Sonali is seen as a judge on India’s Best Dance.
